so its a new year. time for reflection and all that. ummm this year has been interesting... having been in some form of education for the last 14 years i do tend to think of years running from sept to june rather than jan to jan. however when i think the past year in the conventional sense half has been good half not so. i passed my first year of uni (and survived it) which was good. have many good memories of larking around in crookesmoor park, drinking litres of boost and having tea and bicuits with sara at 2 in morn after nights out. i have met many new people and made some good friends, other friendships have grown deeper and others have drifted apart but i suppose that life moves on-no hard feelings and it would make me happy to rememdy this one day. i have been battling with a few demons recently but think they are steadily getting laid to rest and many thanks to those who have helped me and been very kind. im sorry to anyone who has felt neglected recently but i have had a lot to deal with. this year me and owen passed the two year barrier(!) in march and despite the strains put on our relationship by him spending this academic year in italy i still love him very much and we are all good-the wedding is still on guys!! fun times have been had at nights out at juice and frouk-ill always remember debbie and fending off chem eng students... ive also tried new nights in the form of offbeat-its not really my kinda music but i still have a good night due to the lovely people there. and of course how could i not mention that this year saw the establishment of daddy badger, badger and owl to cult status-genious! i also hope that i have maintained my creation of random word and phrases that are periodically phased in and out-its the way forward, is it a delight? or such. ummm so this is getting a rather stupidly long post so maybe ill conclude with a few aims for next year. i would like to pass my second year with a 2:1 to set me up for next year. to be more chilled out. to try and be less self centred and there more for people. to try and make more people that deserve it to be happier... many hugs to all and ill see those of you that wish to see me on the 10th. hugs xxx feel free to add your memories of me from this year as comments..but please be nice. xx
